Sick Evo 8 Makes 725whp On Race Gas

If haven’t seen our previous post on this Evo 8 you need to check it out here. Since our last update on this car we have tuned numerous AWD setups, but we promised updated numbers on this Evo so needless to say we have some really impressive graphs.

We plan to do some track tuning with this Evo in the coming weeks and will make updates on what it runs. We will also try to get some pictures and videos of it running at the track.

This setup is exactly the same as the last time we tuned except for the addition of Q16 race gas. Here are the updated graphs:

Sick Evo 8 Break-In Dyno Tune!

So as everyone knows, we primarily tune Honda/Acura cars, but dabble in pretty much everything/anything out there. Any given day I could be tuning a Subaru, Nissan, Toyota, injected domestic, etc. With the addition of the AWD dyno this past year we have slowly been getting more AWD cars in for tuning, including Evos. I have tuned a handful of Evos now with the OEM ECU “flashed” based tuning, as well as several AEM EMS equipped. A good customer of ours recently bought and built a low mileage Evo 8 with a serious set-up for street and track domination! A break-down of the set-up is as follows:

AWD Dynapack Tuning Now Available!

et_awd

That’s right! You are not imagining this, we are now offering AWD tuning in house!! After years of customers asking me to tune their AWD cars and not wanting to travel to a AWD dyno, we have finally made the decision to purchase another 2WD Dynapack Dyno to pair with our current 2WD Dynapack to provide AWD tuning. The combination of both dynos in AWD mode will support 1600whp!

Our jump into the AWD market is going to cover the majority of Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, as well as the new Evo X and WRX/STI. We are excited to pair up with Cobb Tuning to provide Pro AccessPORT tuning, as well as EcuFlash, AEM EMS, Power FC, and HKS F-CON support for these vehicles. We are also excited to be one of the only AWD Dynapack Dynos in the tri-state area. We have seen the huge demand for AWD tuning, so we anticipate this being a huge step for us.

We are scheduling AWD tuning appointments effectively immediately! Ready to have your AWD car tuned? Know a friend that wants his Suby/Evo tuned? Spread the word!

We have added our COBB rates as well as our ECUFlash rates to the 4-step tuning guide. We have also added a Subaru catalog to the online store!

Update: We have released a new commercial shown below on YouTube.

Buyer Beware – Knock off Injector Dynamics/Bosch 1000ccs on the Market!

It was only a matter of time before someone came out with a knock off version of the InjectorDynamics.com saturated Bosch 1000cc/min injectors. The actual Bosch injector is an OEM injector used in production cars. InjectorDynamics.com reflows them to 1000cc/min, which is standard practice with any aftermarket injector you will find. The reason that the InjectorDynamics.com 1000cc/min injectors work so well is because all 4 injectors are matched together: More >

InjectorDynamics.com/Bosch 750cc Saturated Injectors Intro Sale!!

b1000s-2By now you have probably heard about the latest and greatest Injector Dynamics/Bosch saturated 1000cc injector to hit the market. They run better than anything else out there, and have since become one of our best selling items lately! The supply and demand factor is playing a huge role right now with our inventory. We only have a few more B-Series, K-Series and s2000 Injector Dynamics 1000cc/min left in stock, once they are sold we are not going to be able to have them in inventory until the end of March!! Many of the people that have been ordering the 1000cc’s have commented that they really dont need an injector that large, but since they run so well there is no reason to get anything else. Injector Dynamics has released a new 750cc saturated version of the popular Bosch 1000cc. They are saturated, a drop in installation and require no resistors to be added. The response time and drivability are equal to the 1000cc’s, but in a 750cc flow rate. These are perfect for all motor, supercharged and 500whp turbo builds. If you want to run a high base fuel pressure (90-100 psi), these injectors will flow approximately 1200 cc/min worth of fuel. Our Intro special on these injectors is over, they are available on our online store HERE. We are offering free shipping in the 48 states, and free upgrade to the wireless injector clips if needed.
