We have successfully tuned 50+ turbo, supercharged and nitrous S2000’s with power ranging from 300whp street car to 800whp drag cars. Being both Hondata and AEM certified dealers and tuners, we have the experience and knowledge to sell you the engine management system and get you the best results. We are offering package specials on AEM and Hondata EMS systems with tuning, as well as other packages from top manufactuers like Full Race, RC, Competition Clutch, Tial, Garrett, Inline Pro and Skunk2. Evans Tuning slashes tuning prices for new customers!

In an attempt to help out our customers in rough economic times, we are drastically reducing tuning prices for the winter months. Anyone who books an apppointment between January 5th to February 28th, will receive discounted tuning prices. The tuning appointment MUST be scheduled within these dates. You CANNOT call/email during this time and schedule a tuning appointment for sometime after February 28th and still receive the discounted tuning rates. These appointments will be on a first come, first served basis. There are NO discounted rates on retunes, please do not ask. Also, if a tuning appointment is made during our discounted tuning rate period and you cannot make it to the appointment and reschedule for a date AFTER Fed 28th the full tuning rate will apply! No exceptions! We expect appointments will fill up very quickly, so dont wait to contact us for your appointment! Absolutely NO exceptions will be made for appointments after February 28th! Evans Tuning 09′ Yearly Outlook

Looking ahead to 2009, there are a lot of great things in the works here at Evans Tuning! We have several of our own products in the testing stages right now that will be released shortly, as well as updating and expanding our online catalog and forum.

While drag racing has always been in our blood, we had taken the 08′ season off to “take a step back” and re-evaluate what our next project is going to be. After much diliberation we are currently working on the ultimate street turbo honda, and should have a well documented build for the public by spring. With any of our cars at the shop, we are working with several manufactuers to do some extensive product testing that should have very encouraging results. As always, we will share our testing results to give you options in putting together your turbo builds. We are hoping to bring innovation to our project that will redefine and “set the bar higher” for what to expect from a street car.

Evans Tuning is very excited about what 2009 will bring to you as the consumer, and what we will be able to share with the community.

The Skunk2 MegaPower Header is designed and engineered to maximize exhaust flow and increase both horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM powerband. Our unique design is the result of over a decade of racing experience coupled with computerized modeling and extensive dyno testing. Each Skunk2 MegaPower header features equal length, sequentially-paired, stepped primaries and a 4-2-1 Tri-Y design with a 2.5 inch collector. These features coupled with our unique design specs provide an extremely broad powerband that can be used on a wide range of engine sizes and configurations. Each header is constructed from T-304 stainless steel with fully polished, mandrel-bent tubing and a CNC-machined flange for added strength and durability.

New K-Pro Dual Systems now available!

This past weekend Hondata released their new tuning solution for 04′-06′ TSX’s and 06′-09′ S2000’s called K-Pro Dual. The system is a huge breakthrough for the owners of these vehicles as it allows them the ability for the following:

retain drive by wire
retain dash functionality
retain air conditioning
retain OBD2 diagnostics for emissions testing
retain vehicle stability assist
have factory-like startup and reliability
provides the full tuning features of K-Pro

Hondata has developed and intended this system to work flawlessly using a dual computer setup hence the name K-Pro Dual. The chart below shows how the system works.

The reflashed Stock ECU is kept to control the dash, OBD2, etc. The K-Pro system then is used to add in all of the functions and features of K-Pro, allowing for the most comprehensive solution available at this time.
