Hondata FlashPro engine management system for the 06+ Civic Si will be shipping today to Evans Tuning. The FlashPro will be overnighted from Hondata, and we will be receiving them on 6/23. We are ready and geared up to get ALL existing FlashPro pre-orders shipped to current customers via FedEx overnight within the 48 states. Tracking numbers for those who have pre-ordered will be provided today, but will not be function until tomorrow. ET Intake Air Temperature Sensor Billet Relocation Flanges – In Stock!

Anyone that has ever tuned a 88-00′ Honda/Acura has noticed the absurdly high intake air temperature (IAT) readings that can result from heat soak in the intake manifold, as well as the extremely slow response from the OEM sensor. While the inherit design of the OEM IAT sensor cannot be changed, you can get much more accurate readings from relocating the sensor from the intake manifold. The most ideal location is on the upper charge piping before the throttle body for a turbo application. This allows you to see the actual air temperatures after the intercooler, and can give you a much better idea of how well the intercooler is working. This can make a huge difference in how consistent the tune is on the car, and give you much better information while datalogging. I have been hand fabricating relocation flanges for the past few years, which is far too time consuming to offer to customers. Evans Tuning has finally gotten billet aluminum relocation weld flanges CNC’d to offer this option for our customers. The flanges can be ordered from our online catalog HERE. The flanges are also an additional option to our Hondata s300 packages found HERE. This upgrade is HIGHLY recommended, and is very affordable for the increased accuracy you will receive in datalogs and tuning. Customers who are coming in for scheduled tuning appointments will have the option to get the flange welded onto their piping, as well as lengthening the OEM intake air temperature wiring to the new location for a small additional fee. The price has also been reduced from $795.00 to $695.00! Any pre-orders that have been placed with Evans Tuning will be charged the new price of $690.00 including free overnight shipping. If you have pre-ordered with Paypal you will be refunded the difference. We will be stocking FlashPro units and offering package deals to give you the best pricing possible in the next few days. etMeet 2009 just days away!

With etMeet 2009 coming up at the end of the week (6/13/09), we are starting to put the final touches on the event. If you had signed up at some point last week you should have received your confirmation letter with some details about the event and your free giveaway number. We had a staggering 150+ cars sign up for the meet with well over 2 times that in registered guests. It certainly seems like we are going to have a great turnout for a fun filled and eventful day.
We are slated to be giving away an AEM Wideband Gauge @ 2:30PM so make sure you get there early (not before 1PM, but early) and get signed in for a chance to win it! COBB AccessPORT Now Available for 06+ Honda Civic Si!

We are extremely excited to announce the release of COBB AccessPORT for the 06+ Honda Civic Si. Being recently paired up with COBB to tune both Evo 8-10 and 02+ Subaru applications, this means more options our customers. While the tuning software has not been officially released for the COBB AccessPORT system, we will be offering custom “Pro” tunes once it becomes available. This means we can create a custom tune with the Pro tuning software for your specific application on our dyno and road testing. Features of the new COBB AccessPORT are listed below.
AEM Wideband, Oil Pressure, and Fuel Pressure Gauge Combo!

We get emails almost daily about what gauges are the most important, and what brand we suggest. Hands down the most important gauges are oil pressure, wideband air/fuel, and fuel pressure in that order. We have been working with the AEM digital gauges for the last few months and absolutely love them! They are everything you could want in a gauge; super accurate, have a digital read out, and have a 0-5 volt datalogging output on each gauge. The datalogging output is the best feature of these gauges. It allows you to input the 0-5 volt output to your AEM EMS or Hondata s300 and datalog any of the parameters!
